Easter Table Ideas: Create the Perfect Easter Table Display
Easter Table Ideas
Easter is a time where families come together to enjoy food, festivities and the beginning of Spring. Easter egg hunts, a warming roast dinner and blue skies come to mind, enjoyed over a long weekend with people you love. If you’re hosting, you may be feeling the pressure to create a beautiful Easter table display to wow your friends and family. With the help of Contempee, you can create a stunning festive display without breaking the bank. We’re sharing some Easter inspiration and tips for creating the perfect Easter table display.
Curated Centrepiece Ideas
Arguably the most important part of putting together your dining table display is selecting the perfect centrepiece. At Contempee, we love a floral centrepiece - especially for a Spring holiday like Easter. Here are a few floral ideas from our shop:
Top tip! Opt for realistic, silk faux flowers over fresh. They’re low maintenance compared to fresh flowers and you don’t have to worry about a water spillage if a clumsy guest knocks the vase…

Blossom
Our Faux Cherry Blossom encompasses the fresh spring feeling and pastel colour palette of Easter. Perfect for the centre of a large dining table when paired with the Mya vase (shown below) or Grey Balloon vase.

Kiku Flowers
These gorgeous pom-pom like flowers add a fun, playful feel to your dining display. We have a wide range of colours to choose from, including stunning Spring pastels such as pink and orange.
-
Hydrangea
Hydrangeas are stunning, large flowers that make a bold statement as a centrepiece. Our artificial hydrangea flowers made from silk look just like the real thing. With five stunning colours to choose from, we particularly love the blue and pink for a colourful Easter display.
Less Floral, More Foliage
Sometimes less is more. If you’d like less flowers and more foliage, our Faux Eucalyptus can be used in a number of creative ways to add a fresh feel to your table.
-
Keep it Simple
You can opt to keep it simple and display our Faux Eucalyptus in one of our stunning vases. Opt for eucalyptus as a centrepiece, or repeat two or three bunches through the centre of a table runner. We love classic green eucalyptus but offer a total of 7 stunning colours, with something to suit every home and colour palette.

Eucalyptus Garland
Sometimes centrepieces can cause a bit of a visual obstruction. If you don’t want your guests straining their necks to peer over at the person opposite them, you can add some low foliage in the form of a garland. Our artificial eucalyptus branches bend easily as the stems are made from wire, so you can easily connect a few together and manipulate the leaves to create your very own garland. A eucalyptus garland looks beautiful weaving in and out of candle holders, wine coolers and other items making up your display.

Hang it!
If you just don’t have the table space, eucalyptus looks great hung from above. Gently bend the stems and hook over a light fixture above your table, creating a lovely statement that is sure to wow your guests.
The Easter Tree Centrepiece
Although nowhere near as popular as the Christmas tree, Easter trees have grown in popularity over recent years - although ‘tree’ is a little misleading. Traditionally, branches are collected from outside and placed in a vase to create the ‘tree’. Cute Easter decorations are then hung from the branches. We love the idea of an easter tree as a table centrepiece, and it’s super easy to re-create using our artificial blossom. The branches are strong enough to hold paper decorations like these bunnies from Primark. 5 to 6 paper decorations look great dangling from the branches. To go the extra mile, you can even wrap some fairy lights around the blossom stems or place them in the base of our balloon glass vase.
We hope this blog post has given you some Easter inspiration for a perfectly themed dining table.
